Make Art Not War
Many of Robert's elegant pieces are cast using spent military ammunition, evoking transformation and consciousness through creative daily personal practices of peace

Robert was featured on OPB's Oregon Art Beat. Watch to find out more about Robert and the bronze process.
Born and raised in Southern California, Robert Allen Anders studied fine art and graphic design throughout the 70's at Mira Costa and Palomar Junior Colleges and San Diego State University. After relocating to Golden, CO, Robert further developed his mastery of printmaking, bronze casting, and studio ceramics at the University of Denver.

An accomplished printmaker of etching and intaglio, Robert owned and operated Atelier Colorado in Denver from 1978 to 1992. He has collaborated with numerous renowned artists and participated in socially conscious exhibitions of fine art with major galleries in San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, Boulder, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and New York.

Robert's broad artistic interests and approaches move fluidly to support a broad community of artists, makers, collectors and practitioners are interested in transformation - of materials, of meaning, and of intention. In particular this work resonates with those who believe craft and beauty can be quiet forms of social and personal healing.

Robert's work is held in private collections internationally.
